If you live, work, worship, or attend school in Cooke County, joining Nascoga Federal Credit Union is easy. All you have to do to become a member is:

• Live, work, worship, or attend school in Cooke County, or be employed by or receive retirement benefits from one of our Sponsor Companies or be related to an eligible member.
• Apply in person by completing a membership application during regular lobby hours
• Deposit $26.00 into your Share (Savings) Account. (A one time $1 membership fee is collected and a $25 balance must be maintained for membership)

Membership is simple: maintain a share savings account, and as long as you do, you’ll always be a member – even if you move halfway around the world, you’ll remain a member. When you become a member, your family members are eligible for membership, regardless of where they may live. Your savings are federally insured by NCUA, a government agency and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government.

Important Information About Procedures for Opening a New Account

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law required all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What the means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
